2257 2 2002-01-24 00:44:51 As you may have heard by now, there's a rumor afoot that our favorite for-profit enterprise, Loki Entertainment Software, will suspend operations on January 31. The source of the rumor is this message, said to be an email from Loki president Scott Draeker to resellers of Loki games. If this is true, well, you know. Thanks for everything, Loki, we'll miss you.
This might be a good time to rush over to Loki's online store or Tux Games and snag those titles you don't have yet, before they're gone forever.
Thanks John Heidingsfelder for the first heads up.
Update: Scott Draeker responded to a query I made with this confirmation:
Yes, it's true. We are shutting down. At this point all I can say is 'whew, glad that's over'!
There's more information from Mr. Draeker in this interview at NewsForge.
Darn it all anyway.
