| 2229 | 2 | 2002-01-10 20:47:32 | Category: Documentation
Description: "The same questions get asked repeatedly on Linux related mailing lists and news groups. Many of them arise because people don't know as much as they should about how things “work” on Linux, at least, as far as games go.
This document is a stepping stone to get the most common problems resolved and to give people the knowledge to begin thinking intelligently about what is going on with their games. Just as with anything else on Linux, you need to know a little more about what's going on behind the scenes with your system to be able to keep your games healthy or to diagnose and fix them when they're not.
I hope that this document will reduce the traffic and educate people. I'm no expert at this stuff, so I hope that some guru out there will tell me that I got something wrong and correct my understanding." | Linux Gamers' HOWTO 0.9.2 | new

It increases the average score of a CPU game from 5,7 millions to 583,6 millions! Best game: 6,086,606,800 in 31,737 lines. I removed the CPU difficulty option and added a CPU delay/style option. Now you can customize a CPU opponent that perfectly fits your needs. Try it! I also adjusted or added various gameplay, menu and multiplayer options. | LTris 1.0.1 | updated

This is done by captureing the opponents pieces or by cloning your own. The board is a hexagon built from smaller hexagons (Hence the name Hexxagon.)
Hexxagon is just like Ataxx apart from the board design. The Ataxx board is square and the Hexxagon board is hexagonal.
There is support for both X and console execution.
Hexxagon is released under the GNU General Public License (GPL). | Hexxagon 0.2 | new |
