It's at http://www.nl.linux.org/spellen/. I can't comment on the site's content as it's all in Dutch. If your Dutch is better than mine, go check it out. Dutch Linux games website default

228 2 1999-04-19 12:25:17 glDoom guy Bruce Lewis updated the glDoom news page this weekend with the sad news that he's lost all of the glDoom source in some kind of computer accident at his home. His backups were lost in the same accident. Rather than attempt to recreate 15 months of work, he's throwing in the towel. Damn. I was looking forward to 3D-accelerated Doom under Linux. This is a big fat drag. My condolences, Bruce. The glDoom project is dead default

Don't let it be said we don't listen to our customers. You asked for it, so we added it. None of us play with the mouse, but we've tried to make it as absolutely configurable as possible to suit the Quake/mouselook style of gameplay.
The registered version now supports a file-transferring server; if you connect to a registered server and don't have the map the server's running, it'll send it to you. If you don't have the textures required for the level, it'll automagically send you those as well.
Added some more combat environments, though you'll have to find a server that's playing a new map to see what they are (no changes to the single-player missions).
Fixed an unexploited denial-of-service attack against the server; this required a change in protocol, so we had to increment the network protocol revision to rev.8. Note that rev.8 clients can't connect to rev.7 servers and vice-versa. Everybody should upgrade to rev.8 anyway just to be safe.
Miscellaneous minor bug fixes
BFRIS 1.1.1 updated
