2130 ClanLib Game SDK games 3188 ClanLib Game SDK This is a great SDK even for beginner's. The only problem is the lack of documentation that seems to be improving. 2000-02-14 17:13:41 0
2131 Unreal Tournament games 2642 Unreal Tournament Yay! I can finally dump Windoze. :-) It's a major pain to get this game working, but it is worth it in the end... I'd give UT five stars, except for these problems:

Mouse is jerky in the main GUI, and subtle movements with it aren't detected by UT in the game. This makes sniping and using the Ripper difficult.

There's no music. Even though you might not notice the music when you play, it does add a lot to UT, and it's a shame it doesn't work in Linux.

No way to play the actual tournament. This isn't a huge deal, but it'd be nice to have the option.

But hey, in spite of these niggles, UT is still a great game, on any platform. :-) It was well worth the frustrations of getting it working. 2000-02-15 02:23:06 0
2132 CrossFire games -1 CrossFire This game started in 92 (by me), and on SunOS, but has been ported to most unixes, Linux included. I have been running a permanent server for quite a while at voldsboks.pvv.org (in Norway). -Frank. 2000-02-15 08:52:26 0
2133 QuakeForge games -1 QuakeForge This rules. QuakeForge is GLQuake on linux. It runs from X and is only in need of a little mouse work AFAIK. Get it, play it dTd 2000-02-15 22:14:24 0

2135 XTux games -1 XTux I think that this game could be alot better by making some objective for each map or even making it so that you need to get to the next map by passing the one your on. 2000-02-16 21:47:06 0

2137 State of Mind games 1858 State of Mind This is the single most impressive piece of work I've ever seen on Linux.
The guy who says it's a waste of time and programming effort is out of his mind. No sense of aesthetics at all.
This thing rocks. Where's the SVGAlib download? I'm almost foaming at the mouth to see this on full screen console graphics.
It would be really nice to see the source code. I'd love to see how this was done. 2000-02-16 22:49:58 0
2138 State of Mind games -1 State of Mind very cool a/v demo. would be even better at ultra-high res with openGL. When can we see more demos like this one? 2000-02-17 00:46:27 0
2139 XTux games -1 XTux This looks like a fun game. I would like to play it. Why don't I play it? Simple. The game compiled right and tried to run, but kept getting a SIGSEGV (signal 11) from the kernel and thusly couldn't run. That's why I can't play this game. Now, since I'm a nice person and would gladly listen to the ideas of other nice people, I would welcome any advice (other than 'buy a new computer') that would help me fix this problem. 2000-02-17 00:58:32 0
