State of Mind | games | -1 | State of Mind | State of Mind has excellent graphics and a great apocalyptic-urban-dance soundtrack. If you like Industrial-Dance music and flashy 'MTV' style imagery you'll definitely enjoy State of Mind. Stonel -o- | 1999-11-16 16:19:59 | 0
Fleuch | games | 2090 | Fleuch | Amusing little game. The GLIBC TGZ file would not uncompress though. Had to use LIBC5. Would be really cool if it had nicer graphics. | 1999-11-16 20:38:48 | 0
Craft | games | -1 | Craft | Interesting, deceptively simple game. Graphics are clunky. Characters in the game move like they are on speed =). No load/save option and the computer attacks way too fast but highly recommended anyway. | 1999-11-16 23:57:14 | 0
Mad Bomber | games | 2674 | Mad Bomber | I had to edit the Makefile in order to get it to run on my RedHat6 box, removing the leading slash from it's working directory... other that that,... five stars for the effort. | 1999-11-17 02:28:14 | 0
Craft | games | -1 | Craft | If you are having problems compiling craft, or it crashes, try downloading the Debian patch (link on the craft homepage) and applying it. It adds autoconf support and fixes some crashes. | 1999-11-17 07:11:10 | 0

It gets a compiler error for g3drender.o: In function `GLCheckError': /tmp/g3d-0.0.1/g3d/g3drender.c:28: undefined reference to `gluErrorString' If I remove the reference it compiles and I can run it but adding objects doesn't work: ** CRITICAL **: file g3dmeshunit.c: line 31 (mesh_unit_create): assertion `G3D_IS_VERTEX_ARRAY (object->parent)' failed. file g3dobject.c: line 139 (g3d_object_new): assertion failed: (cc->create (result)) (pid:5439): [E]xit, [H]alt, show [S]tack trace or [P]roceed: Doesn't work as advertised...I see some axiis, nothing else... | 1999-11-17 12:16:33 | 0 |

Mr. Is | games | 2677 | Mr. Is | While I must preface this by saying I was a big fan of the original "Mr. Do" game, "Mr. Is" is an excellent maze-type game for those who can't afford fast Internet access yet. I've spent several minutes at a time playing Mr. Is while waiting for a download to finish or a particularly complicated webpage to load. The controls take a little getting used to, but unless you are a slave to the mouse and/or the joystick, you can learn to move Mr. Is around very quickly. Since all good things must be paused occasionally for other things, like the file transfer finishing, the Pause button works quickly and easily to halt the game until you run into another long file transfer. While the Internet remains slow for most people, you need to have plenty of little games on hand to make the transfer times just fly right on by, and Mr. Is is an excellent choice for just such a game. | 1999-11-18 01:45:54 | 0
