Mantigua is a simple turn-based board game based on the following background story: <br><ul>
You and some competing merchants find an yet unknown and undiscovered cluster of islands. The native inhabitants are peaceful and willing to trade their goods. Now every merchant wants to build up his own trade network to earn as much money as possible. Because of the limited number of islands there isn't enough room for more than one merchant. So all merchants meet and decide that the merchant who can establish more trade monopolies on the islands than his competitors will gain the exclusive right to trade on this cluster of islands.

<p>Up to 5 players occupy provinces, and are able to fight against each other with their troops like in some other strategy games.
<p>
The difference is, that you can't move around with your troops so easily and that the players can choose between some additive actions in every round, which are basic for the game. You can build fortresses to defend your provinces, buy troops, send an ambassador to the king to get some gifts, attack your enemies, hire new warlords or train your troops. The difficulty, is to choose wisely between these 6 actions, to get the optimum for your growing kindom.<br />
The winner is, who collected the most points by trading goods from the provinces and the provinces themselves. |

<p>The main idea is based on the classic 'memory' card game but with a new feature.<br>
All pair of cards is associated to an unique sound. In Marryampic mode, you hear a sound, you must identify to which pair it correspond, and then find the pair.
But you can play like the original in the classic 'memory' mode, which is less difficult. You can then find any pairs. The sound of the pair is played when you've found it.</p>
