13489 pydance games -1 Re: what about some bugfixing? The problem isn't his distribution, it's SMPEG. As always. -- piman 2003-08-27 20:10:19 13434
13490 pydance games -1 Re: what about some bugfixing? Also, I don't see why it's our problem that Red Hat isn't shipping up to date Pygame and SDL packages. Until recently, there wasn't even a way for an independent developer to get packages into Red Hat. So go bitch to them. 2003-08-27 20:11:50 13431
13491 Linux Lunar Lander games -1 Re: very fun, carry on Looks good. Keep going. Also I do believe that the original Lunar Lander was intended to be a full round trip like you suggested, but the programmer decided that it was a good enough game in itself. At least I think it was the original... I'm remembering this from like 6-8 years ago. 2003-08-27 20:14:19 13481
13492 Asymptopia Flashcard System games -1 Re: Heh Hey, whatever works.
I'm definitely going to give it a go this school year - seems like exactly what I need.
-Erwos 2003-08-27 21:16:03 13479
13493 Freedroid RPG games 6077 Re: Hey No, sorry, a Windows port currently doesn't exist for FreedroidRPG. Also there aren't any plans for such a thing yet. However, the other game, Freedroid Classic, which is a clone of the C64 game Paradroid, does have a port for Windows too. Hope that helped. See ya, Johannes. 2003-08-27 22:56:05 13477
13494 3987 news -1 Re: No Linux version What gave you the idea that this is a consumer-only site? Well it is not! If you checked the forums you would also see that two of the forums is dedicated to development. 2003-08-27 23:02:18 13482
13495 3987 news 506 Re: No Linux version Which one of the developers sites? Ldgc is now dead for quite a while and I don't really know any other. Beside that there gets lots and lots of broken or unplayable stuff posted on happypenguin.org, so whats the difference between a game that isn't playable ('cause code is broken) and a game that isn't playable ('cause windows only)? Heck, at least the last one can be run under Wine... 2003-08-27 23:41:20 13482
13497 Linux Shuttle Lander games -1 Re: Good start LOL. Looks quite similar to the landing sequence in that old C64 space-station-building game, but the C64 game flew right to left. Heh. I usually had to await months of repairs after "landing" a shuttle at high speed and suddenly running short of runway. As a result, my space station was always overbudget and behind schedule, even with the cheat in fund allocation.
Hmm. I wonder if President Bush could figure out how to shuffle the money in those bar graphs so the government could generate more revenue for as long as he can hold the joystick to the right? Might solve a few things, and it's within his mental grasp. Heh. 2003-08-28 00:52:09 13483
13499 3987 news -1 Development ? It seems their development isn't really a high priority since nothing has been posted in the mailinglist. How long ago did this project start? Anyway, i'm listed in the developer-mailing, if anymore people join just call on me when needed. I'll try to help as much as i can. Red15 2003-08-28 03:01:52 0
13500 Crack Attack! games -1 Needs a meny system to be truly usefull This is the kind of game my girlfriend would play, IF it had a menu that you return where you could set all these options that exists as cl options now. Why should she have to learn the commandline to play solo on the computer? 2003-08-28 03:56:21 0
