Neverball games -1 Re: great game Quick question: how did you get it to compile with the nvidia drivers? Where'd you get glu.h? 2003-08-11 14:50:22 13058
Slickworm games 7152 Excellent good start For a test version (non-playable) this is definitely 5/5 stars. I played the Windows version and got by default around 150 - 190 fps on my Radeon 9000. The buggy handles just like it would in real-life - like crap. Well, it's realistic, exactly what you'd get if you steer with the rear wheels also. I like shooting the terrain. Couldn't shoot the bugs damnit! Driving underwater is also fun. Povray is a good tool to render the shadows/lighting onto a texture map without having to compute in real-time. This project shows promise. I just hope it does go stale through lack of motivation like many others game projects do. 2003-08-11 15:24:10 0
Atomic Tanks games 8398 Great implementation of Scorched Earth Try this out.

Great graphics, a zillion weapons, gadgets, shields etc. You can choose the level of AI you fight against. The highest level AI is very accurate - beware. 2003-08-11 18:09:26 0

Briquolo games -1 Briquolo Compiled first time no problem on RH 9.0 Ran pretty nice too. 2003-08-11 22:02:40 0
Freedroid RPG games 6672 Not gonna rate it yet... Its so bloody slow! If you were going to use dymanic lighting, why not use OpenGL? The sprites could be textured squares, and the lighting calculations would be simplified. Its just too bloody slow at the moment (2-4fps!) I'm not gonna rate it yet, seeing as I've only got a PII 450 with Geforce2MX400, but I hope to see the speed improve... 2003-08-12 00:58:16 0
