Slickworm | games | -1 | TBR => Kyro Series ;....-( | Nice game ... But '2 FPS' are not enough =D Maybe you can do some fixing, so kyro users are able to play it in the future ... bye | 2003-08-08 06:36:15 | 0
Slickworm | games | 4446 | Very nice | This is fun. Is the buggy made of paper ?? At least it feels so. And when I climb onto a boulder, it penetrates little buggy's floor :( Poor buggy <p> Now if the game only had some content ;) | 2003-08-08 06:57:11 | 0

Slickworm | games | -1 | Very.. | interesting ;). I'm also studying 3d programming at the moment and it's always interesting what other's are doing and how they did it. I really enjoyed the raster-mode (press y or x while playing)! You see how the landscape's getting more and more detailled when nearing it. You're not using octrees yet? With my Ati Radeon 9700 I've got about 200-300 FPS on the windows machine. I have the same card on a Linux Workstation. If you're interested I can make meassures there too! | 2003-08-08 09:21:52 | 0
FreeDroid | games | 4626 | beautiful | After trying FreedroidRPG, I decided to try Freedroid classic. I was not disappointed. In fact, Im still playing after somewhere around 2 or 3 hours, and I'll certainly be coming back to it. *drool* Very Very Fun | 2003-08-08 09:58:06 | 0
Slickworm | games | 6453 | Re: TBR => Kyro Series ;....-( | Try passing -s0 as a startup parameter on the command line and see if that helps. | 2003-08-08 10:38:06 | 13098
Slickworm | games | 4626 | I like it a lot! | Man... as I played this tech demo, I saw beautiful potential for this game. In fact, it could be awesome with not that much code... Things needed. Basic AI for those bug creatures. Maybe a spawn point for more of them. being able to shoot from the vehicle. A health system, so that you and the bug critters and probably your car would take damage from weapons. and netplay would be cool, too... hehe but there you would have a good start, imho | 2003-08-08 11:58:35 | 0
Slickworm | games | -1 | Looks Nice | Hey. Didn't have the chance playing this one yet but by the screen shot it reminded me the old game of Death Drome. | 2003-08-08 12:30:01 | 0
Torcs | games | -1 | Re: More Torcs please | I agree that someone should add a #define to optionally replace the glut* calls to SDL* calls with SDL* calls. But this fullcreen problem is caused by Mesa's glut which will be replaced with freeglut in the long run likely, which supports GultGameMode() also on Linux properly. It's not a big deal, just somebody has to add the neccesary XF86VidMode calls to Mesa's Glut... Until somebody does one of these things, you can just use freeglut.sf.net, get the rc2 and install it, I just fixed the XFree86 GameMode code in it. (get 2.0.0-rc2) | 2003-08-08 13:02:50 | 12928
Craft | games | -1 | i can't run craft :( | [ale@localhost craft_bin]$ file craft craft: ELF 32-bit LSB executable, Intel 80386, version 1 (SYSV), dynamically linked (uses shared libs), not stripped [ale@localhost craft_bin]$ ./craft bash: ./craft: No such file or directory [ale@localhost craft_bin]$ why it isn't works?! | 2003-08-08 13:57:34 | 0
