13068 Late games 8390 Re: sounds cool, specially... You are quite right, it is infact a barrack clone, though I must confess it hardly does credit to the legasy of barrack which is polished, animated and filled with goodys in a way I never intend on emulating (I mainly did late after uni one day and I don't plan on spending hours on end making it as cool as barrack, though I might add powerups if I ever get the inclination)
The symlink problem has been solved in 0.0.3, I didn't quite catch if you had got it to work, but if you hadn't got it to work and still want to play it, the fixed version is waiting to be downloaded at sourceforge. Enjoy! 2003-08-06 20:32:34 13066
13069 Late games 8390 Re: Did I miss something? The game is wholly based on barrack by ambrosia software, I have never played qix, nor jezzball so I am not sure how similar it is to them, I get the feeling that quix and jezzball don't have the same diversity in their ball assortment, but once again, I am not sure.
Of course it is not a total barrack clone, the balls are different and it does not have cool powerups like barrack does, but generally it is similar. 2003-08-06 20:40:42 13061

13072 Rocks 'n' Diamonds games -1 Re: Impossible Levels(version 2.1.1) Do not do this - it ruins the game! Once you begin skipping levels, you find yourself jumping from level to level all the time, until you loose interest completely. Play it like I do. Sometimes I need months to beat a level, but than finally I can master it and made real progress. By the way: every beaten level can be replayed later, the record gets saved automaticly. 2003-08-07 00:52:37 9504
13073 Rocks 'n' Diamonds games -1 Re: Level 6 in Tutorial It is not enough to kill all the crunchers.. you must drop a stone on each cruncher! And do this carefully, since no cruncher might explode together with another cruncher, each must be dropped its own stone onto. Than the last cruncher will reveal an emerald. 2003-08-07 01:05:51 6214
13074 Vendetta games 8385 Awsome
The only dissapointing thing about this game is the fact that someday it will go commercial and then I won't be able to play it. In every other way it has surpassed my expectations. The graphics are stunning and run well.

This game is awsome.

cdgweb

2003-08-07 03:03:32 0

13077 Freedroid RPG games 4512 Latest version I was looking forward to trying this latest one, as I've not played it for about a year now, and those latest screenshots are looking cool. I noticed the line about the download size growing and how the author(s) apologized to 56K users...
But 50 MEGS in one file? Get out of here. 10 megs is bad enough! Split the damned thing up again, like you used to. Some of us can't even stay connected long enough to download that much in one go. Jesus... 2003-08-07 11:23:10 0
