13050 Crimson Fields games -1 great work CF is realy great and the best thing: the interface is better than in battle isle! If you want to use the history-line cards you can get the original history line for free at www.the-underdogs.org - I haven't tried to import the cards yet but I'll do it tonight. A big thank you for the developer, great work! 2003-08-06 00:15:53 0
13051 KrossWordPlayer games 8398 Works great. I wrote an ebuild for this, to submit to Gentoo Linux. I started testing it and found out I like crossword puzzles.

I must be getting old.

It plays great but doesn't come with any puzzles. Search the web for .puz crossword files.

Here are 10 or 20 to get you started:
http://world.std.com/~wij/puzzles/

Some newspapers let you download the daily crossword puzzle in .puz format. 2003-08-06 00:20:14 0
13052 Neverball games -1 Very good game.
I like these kind of action-puzzle games! Very very nice.
Defenitely worth compiling. :-) 2003-08-06 01:03:52 0
13053 FreeDroid games 5968 Freedroid Classic and Sharp Zaurus The lastest cvs-version can now be arbitrarily scaled using `-r`, for example `-r 0.5` scales it to 320x240, which should make it playable on the Sharp Zaurus. Instructions on cvs download and cross-compilation for Zaurus can be found here .
(The crash-causing bug reported there should now be fixed..)
Unfortunately I don't have one of these nice machines, so anyone with a Zaurus having a go at it, please let me know about your successes/failures.. ;)
Have fun!
Rh 2003-08-06 01:53:39 0
13054 Neverball games -1 Neverball What me compile? Linux is no longer just for nerds. Linux is ready for the desktop user. So where are the binaries? At least provide a .tar.gz binary archive if not rpms and debs. Judging by the problems listed below, this would be a sensible call. Then we could post ratings for the game, rather than "it won't compile" messages. 2003-08-06 05:46:03 0
13055 Neverball games 5577 Re: Neverball hmm, I didn't have any errors when compiling. are you sure you have all the packages needed to compile it? well, here's my binary, if that helps. compiled in redhat 8.. http://pasila.lib.hel.fi/~basse/tmp3/ .b 2003-08-06 07:16:27 13054
13056 Neverball games 8390 Awe struck! Truely beautiful game, elegant graphics, addictive gameplay and packed full of content. It seems well finished which is a rare thing amongst linux games. Bravo! 2003-08-06 07:23:22 0
13057 Neverball games 8400 Excellent Game! Wow, I love it when a really cool free game just comes out of nowhere like that.

This game seems very polished for having just been released, or at least for its first time on the linux game tome.

Like everyone else pointed out, its a very tough game to play. But I found if you try to just move the marble slowly and steadily there was plenty of time to make it to the target.

Keep up the good work! 2003-08-06 09:28:18 0
