1156 2009 2000-03-30 11:12:34 Category: Puzzle
Description: Based on a word puzzle that in my local newspaper (The Advertiser). I wrote this in one night for a friend to play on black and white labtams between lectures, so the graphics are pretty crude.
I don't expect to do anymore with this apart from bugfixes. Porting to a toolkit like GTK-- should be rather simple and is left as an exercise to the reader :)
This game has no homepage. XNineword 1.0 new

1164 1350 2000-04-02 23:30:00 Category: Under development - not yet playable
Description: Arkon is an experiment. The basic idea is that it will simulate a universe holding entities which interact with each other. The initial interpretation of this very general guideline is a starship simulation. A three-dimensional universe holds starships which can move around based on a physics-model somewhat similar to that of the universe we live in.
The above is just the starting point of the experiment. The development process might lead to entirely different things. One likely possibility is the move towards a game where starships battle each other, controlled by client programs which might very well be robots.
Development is open to anyone interested in experimenting with the possibilities of simulated universe physics, so feel free to send mail to pesco@gmx.de.
