Deskmate! games 1739 Deskmate! Nothing more than a pretty image viewer. It is pretty though... 1999-08-23 09:51:19 0
Netrek games -1 Netrek A little comment on the modernization thing (someone posted about the program being dated): Work continues on the clients... the TedTurner 256-color Paradise one, specifically (which I compile authorizing clients of for a few platforms), is in active development. (Paradise is a neat Netrek derivative with more ships, more features, more Generally Neat Stuff... if bored with plain old Netrek, you should try it!) 1999-08-23 20:49:08 0
Myth II: Soulblighter demo games 1739 Myth II: Soulblighte Great game and good to see big league games under Linux. The MPEG movies played very well too. It crawled a bit on my P120 with 32Mb though (but my machine is slightly under mimimum game specs). 1999-08-24 06:29:53 0
ClanBomber games 2165 ClanBomber its a cool game that already gave us hours of fun 1999-08-24 06:48:20 0
Quake 3 Arena games 2167 Quake 3 Arena I had to get my X work with 24 bit colors before Q3test worked.. In the README.Linux file there is nothing I found about 24 bit colors .. SO it took a long time before I got it working :o( .. however, now that it works.. it runs WAY faster then Q3test for winslows (vdo2+s3virge) really KiCkAss GAmE.. btw, support more cards. For example , my friend has a banshee .. and it seems that I can't get Q3Test working with banshee. 2000-03-17 16:16:08 0

Myth II: Soulblighter games -1 Myth II: Soulblighte Installation on my Linux-Mandrake 6 system went without a hitch. (Easy as installing the windows version!!!) Well worth the $$!! Bungie.Net and packaged game editors provide nearly limitless replay value!!! 1999-08-24 10:33:16 0
Simple DirectMedia Layer games -1 Simple DirectMedia L The SDL library is heaven-sent! I was currently writing my own cross-platform code to abstract video, sound, etc. but then came across SDL. It is a very simple, powerful, and complete library for writing games; exactly what I was trying to accomplish. A single .c file compiled and ran cleanly both in Linux and Win32! Sweeeeet! Many kudos to Sam and Loki Software for this very powerful library. I really hope more people pick up on SDL since I am an advocate of other OS's and hardware platforms. The more games for alternative OS's/platforms means that we might actually be able to format c:, and get rid of that dirty window that I really only use for it's game support. 1999-08-24 15:47:33 0

glTron games -1 glTron Realy impressive piece of software! Astonishing that the whole game fits into just a 20KB-sized archivefile. There is only a little bit sound missing, and network-play would also be fine - after adding that, this game real rocks! 1999-08-25 05:05:06 0
