NVIDIA Linux Display Driver | games | -1 | NVIDIA Linux Display Driver | ummm ppl, those who buy nvidia products have every right to bitch and complain about the lack of support for different achitectures. We support the company with buying it's hardware, so we deserve support in return. If we just sit back and let them give half-arsed support for a different OS, they will! It is only by demand and pressure that we have got these companies to hear us and face the fact; linux/unix users count! <br><br> So before you start trying to sympathize with these multi-nationals, know that they are only supporting us (in a limited way) because the profit they get from linux customers compared to the cost to develop linux drivers still ends up in a profit. | 2003-07-31 04:08:53 | 0
xmus | games | -1 | Re: xmus seams to do anything | Hello! What this program does, is to change the in-screen arrow shape of pointing device with another colorfull graphic. When you run the program, does it give any error message?? Try moving the mouse in the background to see the effect. saludos, SoLo2 <A HREF="http://members.tripod.com/so_o2/xmus.html> xmus </A> homepage | 2003-07-31 04:25:30 | 4903

NVIDIA Linux Display Driver | games | -1 | Very nice, I'm sure | Which version of the drivers would be best for a Riva TNT? Version 5.32 of the windows drivers seem to be the best in windows, but I'm guessing there's no real relation. The only linux nvidia drivers that I have used were about 4 years ago (that might be an exageration, I can't really remember), the extremely under-powered X 3.3 drivers. If any of these new drivers can improve on these, then I'll be happy(ish). Thanks, richard. | 2003-07-31 04:30:17 | 0

Liquid War | games | -1 | Awsome, very original!` | Weather it's a small map with utter chaos or a large map with much strategy, hours will be used but not wasted on this fast paced game! | 2003-07-31 07:33:03 | 0

pydance | games | -1 | Re: Here's some output you might want. | One thing you might want to try is getting rid of the MP3s you have and use Ogg Vorbis files instead. Does this happen on the demo song as well, or only when you pick songs using mp3s? SMPEG is rather broken with pygame, but the support is built-in to SDL_mixer for those that have SMPEG available, so it's not turned off. | 2003-07-31 10:11:35 | 12879
