So the ONLY thing the company is basing it's complaints on are a few of the similarities and the "supposed" confusion about the name "FreeCraft". I don't know about you but I am sick and tired of being insulted by big companies. The these idiots really believe, that their customer base is so STUPID and BRAINLESS, that they'd confuse the names Starcraft and Warcraft with Freecraft. Not whitstanding that Freecraft is a LINUX only program, since there is absolutely NO blizzard program in linux. I do not see the justification in this accusation, nor do I see the need for these companies to keep insulting the intellect of the average consumer. I mean first they stop Bnetd, and now Freecraft? This was one of the Linux games I was most enthusiastic about. I think we could all see it shaping up into a great game. And it wasn't like even the Warcraft-like behaviour was hard-coded, IIRC the game was implemented as an engine configurable by various data files that could make it like Warcraft, or like other games. <P>And was it stepping on their toes? No. A clone for *nix of an ancient game sold in bargain bins, that was unavailable for *nix. Like some Windows user would repartition their hard drives and install and learn a whole new OS just to save paying a fiver for Warcraft. Stupid. Moronic. I think that we all should start an E-Mail campaign to Blizzard condeming their actions. Can somebody find a relevent E-Mail address? I will set up a site ASAP that has the sources and binaries to the game. I only have the Windoze versions of these, so if anyone has the other versions it will be greatly appreciated.
