Make sure that you have the MS joilet file system compiled into your kernel. Just one quick option, or module and you should be good to go. <P> Dan | 2003-06-20 12:16:04 | 11620 |
| 12026 | Neverwinter Nights Client | games | 6071 | Re: Holding back my money | yeah with no installer.. or video cut scenes. really high quality programming job there guys. I was suckered into buying this game back when it was released for windows pending the linux client release. Don't tell me they did me a favor porting it to linux. They got a s**t load of advertising for this game on just about every technology site out there cuz they were taughting how their application was designed to be cross platform from the ground up and was going to be delivered on linux and mac. The thing I find the most horrendous about this entire situation is that they don't even provide an installer. They require that you install it on windows first. That is the lamest thing I've ever heard of in my life. How tough can it possibly be to write a freakin shell script or use loki's setup tool to install your software. (yeah i know about tuxgames, whoopi doo) Hey Bioware, don't do me any favors again k? .. .. .. Before you flame me. I want you to know that I bought every d**n loki game they ever made. I've done my part to support linux game companies. What have you done? | 2003-06-20 12:43:28 | 12021 |

| 12031 | Pingus | games | 8148 | Fantastic Work | I had forgotten Lemmings, but this wonderful game brings back the concept. It runs perfectly on RedHat 9.0 so far. I am most impressed with the completeness of the game. There are help screens and a full tutorial. These details are what are missing in almost all open source games because they require real effort with little psychological payoff. This is a great effort. Thanks. | 2003-06-20 16:29:12 | 0 |
