America's Army: Special Forces games 7835 not completely offtopic Not long ago, I have read somewhere that there was a game made by either Hezbollah or Hamas. Game was a FPS and you could play versus IDF. If anyone has any information about the game, please post it here. 2003-06-12 04:27:30 0

ADOM games -1 Check out the lastest version I've played ADOM for a long time now. Hey, I even downloaded the first public version for the sake of curiousity (advice: wait till you do love ADOM as it is now to try the early versions, really). But, and this is what I want to say, try out the lastest (1.1.1 as now) version. Biskup has added a "talent" system that just gives a tremendous boost to the character customization thing. And gameply is expanded even more... just have to try out those tenths of talents avaliable. And, yes, there is actually a story behind it. With many unanswered parts, I'll say, so that new players don't think (by far) that there's nothing left to be discovered. Now, if only we ever got to see one release of JADE... 2003-06-12 07:14:58 0
GXMame games -1 Re: GXMame I own almost one of every arcade game produced before 1998, but the power requirements of having all these plugged in at once would be very expensive. As such, I store them in an underground bunker below my home, sealed away for future generations to find. Since I already own them, I simply downloads the roms for these games and play them on my computer - nice and legal.<br><br> So don't say that there's no point to GXmame! It's helping me stay out of the poor house. 2003-06-12 10:32:51 9841
adv770 games -1 Re: Made any points? OK, thanks. I have now solved the Sunstone dilemma but haven't yet ventured back into the catacombs, I am saving that one. I have now found the organic fertilizer but what do I need to 'scoop' it up with and where can I find it? I seem to have been everywhere else and collected everything but no matter what I have I can't take the 'dung' Do I get to deal with the dwarves once I have been up the beanstalk on the beach? Can't wait. 2003-06-12 10:43:52 11868
America's Army: Special Forces games -1 problems once i got through basic Once I finished basic training the next step is to pass a multiplayer basics test, with a limited number of servers. All of them state that the authentication server appears to be down, and to try again later. I found a little trick to supposedly cheat past all training missions. I tried that and still no luck, not on the training servers nor the "real" multiplayer servers (which I, again, "supposedly" should have had access rights too [it's the file ./armyops/System/save/user.txt]). So I was wondering, does anyone else have this problem? This game runs well (not beautifully) on my 450p2/512 w/GF2-mx400, even under KDE, so this should be fairly accessible to many people, it'd be a shame if some of the functionallity is somehow missing. Or, hey, maybe the authentication servers were down, but there sure did seem to be an aweful lot of other players playing. bhsx 2003-06-12 11:15:35 0

America's Army: Special Forces games -1 Re: Stay on topic, please. "Removing games from the database because some members of our audience disagree with the content is a slippery slope that I am not willing to start down."<BR> And removing comments because you don't like them is different? 2003-06-12 14:34:23 11871
America's Army: Special Forces games 2 Re: Stay on topic, please. Yep, since I run the site, I get to do pretty much whatever I feel like! :) <p> Actually, I'll never remove on-topic posts, even if they say something incredibly stupid. It's the free-form rants in areas reserved for specific types of discussion that get the axe. And, because I love you so, I've even provided a forum for free form rants! How can you possibly complain? 2003-06-12 15:32:16 11892
