Free is, as in beer. When us Linux zealots refer to free, as in beer, we don't associate trademarks because such is intellectual property the respectable corporater GRANTS USE. When a peice of software is GPL'd, the license defines what "FREEDOM" is applicable, ie free as in beer, or free as in you agree to these conditions by implied use or incorporation of software. The GPL is NOT free per se. Somthing free is incorporated without obligation, or shall the few remaining zealous Americans will say: "No law shall be made respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the practice thereof..." The 1st ammendment to the Constitution of the thirteen united States of America made it clear that religion may not be identified nor regulated! However, nobody said that an unlawful domestic corporation, UNITED STATES, or its business fictions STATE OF CALIFORNIA or UNITED STATES ARMY can't covertly or coercivly secure persons as property and not members through Common Law, and enforce a perpetual wartime and maintaine Admiralty Law upon all its secured assets (persons, ie "citizens of the United States [corporation]). Then, out of nowhere, a foreign (not domestic) corporation incorporates from Maryland as the "INTERNAL REVENUE SERVICE", covertly working with the UNITED STATES to fool people into voluntary excise tax through *terrorism and falsifying documents via **militant private notaries... No way, that just doesn't happen around here. Us Common Law venue people, sui jurists, wouldn't know what we were talking about... Or did you actualy continue following the white rabbit? Today, the only thing you get for free, thus because it lacks any certain Alodial Title or Patent, is a COMPUTER VIRUS. But wait, who owns the trademark COMPUTER VIRUS, Microsoft maybe? Norton, PcCillin, or Macafee maybe? HA! That's somthing worth investigation, but too much spit already wasted! Sure, anyone can say nothing is free in this world, but then you come across that special somthing anonymously donated without license or patent, truly free as in beer. You'll have to unpack it in the krystaldrop directory I think. Now, if I were you, I'd download the rpm or the deb packages... it's so easy to use!
