GNOME front-end for Snes9X SNES emulator. |
GSnes9x is a GNOME front-end for the Snes9X SNES emulator. It allows you to set and preserve the options for a particular ROM when running it, and to set global options for new ROMs being included. It also keeps a Cheat Codes database for each ROM, where you can save as many codes as you want.
You need Snes9X (I use 1.23 for Linux) and a working GNOME environment for GSnes9x. It is also recommended to have a few ROMs :) |

Gtk2 frontend for the popular game nethack. |
Gtk2Hack is a nice graphical frontend for the popular rogue-like role playing game nethack using the modern GTK2 toolkit.
It was inspired by other window ports like QtHack and Gnomehack.<p>
It aims to provide an improved visual interface while maintaining complete keyboard controllability. It also adds the ability to leave the inventory window up while playing, has nice bars for hitpoint and power display and features a nicer equipment window with the stuff you are currently wearing/wielding. |
