| 11205 | Molecule Man | games | -1 | Great! | I haven't tried it, but I love that it's the ORIGINAL AUTHOR porting his 80s 8-bit games to Linux! | 2003-05-10 03:25:38 | 0 |
| 11206 | Dark Places | games | 7574 | Dark Places | I got it working :-) exept there seems to be a sound bug. If launch the Windows version under Wine it's very good, buton launching the Linux native version, I get an annoying buuzzy kind of sound, which repeats throughout everything. What kind of stats can I send in to fix this? | 2003-05-10 03:34:33 | 0 |
| 11210 | gngeo | games | -1 | Fast ! emu | Give this a try if you're looking for a neogeo emu on unix systems. It's pretty fast, it runs all games almost full speed and full screen (using OpenGL wrapper), on my old K6-3 400, whithout almost any frameskip. It's not that difficult to compile it, also. Great, great emu ! If only X-Mame was THAT fast ;) --{@ Ryo99. | 2003-05-10 05:35:50 | 0 |
| 11211 | Molecule Man | games | -1 | Run the game | Do I need Kylix to run the game, when I run molman I get: ./molman: relocation error: ./molman: undefined symbol: initPAnsiStrings And the source package doesn't have any make or configure! | 2003-05-10 06:04:28 | 0 |
| 11212 | Molecule Man | games | -1 | Re: Great! | Molman is 590 kb, and Kylix Open Edition, which you need too, is 90.7 MB!
Just if you thought its a "quick to grep", or something..
Before your download starts, you will have to fill out a whole bunch of stuff, maybe this is where some of us drop out. | 2003-05-10 06:22:40 | 11205 |
| 11213 | Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory | games | -1 | /dev/dsp: Device or resource busy | i am running the linux version, but my sound fails. I run the following: # /sbin/fuser -v /dev/dsp and no other programs are using the /dev/dsp Does anyone have any suggestions to resolve this? | 2003-05-10 06:47:45 | 0 |
| 11215 | Duke Nukem 3d | games | -1 | Re: duke3d networking | I just tried it, too... I think the file you need is not duke3d.cfg but any other text file containing network information. I tried it with a file named "test" which had just my IP adress in it, but it didn't work either. Icculus says something about "setting up a multiplayer game involves editing text files and filling in IP adresses" on his homepage and I guess that's what he meant. So does anyone know how it works exactly? | 2003-05-10 11:11:17 | 10618 |
| 11217 | LGeneral | games | -1 | This is absolutely great! | I love it!! PG has always been one of my favorite games, but over the years I have lost the ability to run it! Now with Lgeneral I have PG back, and more! One thing though.... How come the combat animations do not run? That is one of my favorite aspects of PG, and to have that working in Lgeneral would be the ultimate gift!!!!! Please enable this in Lgeneral! Thanks! ForgiveR | 2003-05-10 11:20:52 | 0 |
| 11221 | Dark Places | games | -1 | activating shaders | so how do I activate per-pixel lighting/shadows && bumpmaps/glossmaps for linux exactly? running it by just make release and ./darkplaces-glx -game dpmod doesnt give me these features (and i have a card that supports them, a gf3). | 2003-05-10 13:23:50 | 0 |
| 11222 | Bridge Construction Set | games | -1 | Re: Sounds good, but | I swear, you trolls are terrible. It says right on the guy's page its GPL'd. And there are download links. I don't know what is wrong with some people. | 2003-05-10 13:24:13 | 9192 |
